PCR cooperated with Ministry of Agriculture in development and drafting of several legal documents. PCR participated in the discussions during the drafting of the Law on Food Safety of RA. PCR lawyer gave her suggestions and made some comments during the discussions, which were accepted.

Another important document that was drafted by the PCR was a draft Law on Agricultural Cooperatives. In order to inform the Ministry of Agriculture about PCR’s plans of developing draft law on the Agricultural Cooperatives on June 16^th, 2006 PCR had a meeting with Deputy Ministers of Agriculture, Head of Food Policy Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Head of Food Security Division of the Ministry of Agriculture. PCR’s President offered the Ministry to cooperate in the process of developing the Draft Law on Agricultural Cooperatives. This suggestion was accepted by the Ministry, which offered all kind of technical support to the process of the Draft Development and later in the process of presenting the Draft Law to the Government for further approval by the National Assembly.

The third major cooperation was the process of development of Government Decree on “Confiscation, storage and utilization of dangerous food products”. The draft Decree was sent to Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Trade and Economic Development for circulation. Some of these Ministries made their comments and suggestions, which PCR took into account. Finally, in July 12, 2007.
